Учасники вокально-інструментального ансамблю «Metallica» на своєму сайті та Youtube-каналі опублікували відео, на якому фронтмен гурту Джеймс Гетфілд (James Hetfield) розпаковує коробку з делюкс-виданням альбому «Kill ’Em All» 1983 року.
15 квітня 2016 року гурт Металіка офіційно випускає оновлені (remastered) версії альбомів «Kill ’Em All» (1983 року) та «Ride The Lightning» (1984 року). Обидва альбоми отримають поліпшену якість звуку і будуть доступні в трьох форматах: на CD, вінілі та у вигляді делюксового бокс-сету.
До складу кожного бокс-сету входять чотири вінілових диски, п’ять CD, один DVD, книжка у твердій палітурці, що містить у собі фото гурту, які раніше не публікували, і нашивки. Вартість бокс-сетів альбомів «Kill ’Em All» і «Ride The Lightning» становить $149.99 за кожен.
Усі, хто замовив ці делюкс-видання, почнуть отримувати їх починаючи з 11 квітня 2016 року.
